The building I work in will be shut down from tomorrow onwards, to prevent employees in the most critical departments to fall ill all at the same time. Only a handful of people will be allowed to work in the office building, in accordance with a rotating schedule. All others are ordered to work from home until further notice.
For us consultants, the most annoying part is that we lose our project room. In terms of finding a new work space, we can just move to our base office and work from there.

We are joking around that it would be disastrous if our base office closed down.
Thursday 12 March 2020
Our base office is closing down and we are ordered to work from home until further notice. How ironic.
I am actually not looking forward to working from home fulltime. Once in a while is nice, but not all the time. How are we supposed to simulate the spontaneous connects with colleagues at the office, in the virtual space?
Friday 13 March 2020
First day of working from home for the next two weeks (at least). I work from home on Fridays from time to time and enjoy it, but now that it’s mandatory it suddenly feels weird. Even though I like my house I do feel a bit locked up, and I miss socializing during the day. Fortunately I have next Sunday to look forward to, as we need to be at the office with a select group of people for our project.
